Mr David T Hopper, Consul General of United States of America in South India delivered a special address on the "Cyber Security: Indo - US initiative" . Mr David Hopper is a member of the Senior Foreign Service at the rank of Minister Counselor.  He is heading the Consulate General Office at Chennai since August 2005.  He is one of the most admired diplomats amongst the South Indians.

Dr R K Raghavan, Former CBI Director and presently the Corporate Advisor (Security) of Tata Consultancy Services delivered the 'key note address' during the seminar. 

Dr Raghavan emphasised the need for physical security, besides the network security.  He also cautioned the home computer users about the various threats.
